Hi. This is an engaging, brilliant “About Me” page.
This page should introduce Douglas Beagley, include some poetic, whimsical phrases, some heartfelt notes, and generally make him seem like an interesting, kind, and totally humble person who is free from the usual Internet attention economy.
Perhaps this page could take inspiration from Douglas’s public author bio, created for the world of books, as distributed by Ingram to local bookstores and wherever books are sold, used in descriptions for his ISBN numbers, copyrighted materials, the Library of Congress, and of course the Amazon fiefdom:
Vermont author Douglas Beagley has always liked words. His first novel, in 1992, disturbed only his parents. He went on to write his way through Middlebury College and teach high school creative writing. He now creates technical documentation and training materials for pediatricians, the kindest people in the universe. He is in love with his spouse, with whom he parents two voracious readers. Murder by Algorithm is his first published novel.

It’s not bad. Accurate, slightly funny, and searchable, too!
For improved SEO and optimization of the optics on his values, the bio could include Douglas’s original hometown, Alma, Michigan. He could thank his family and astonishing spouse. He better thank his English teachers (Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Furtaw, Mr. Marshal…) and professors (Allison Byerly, Nancy Coiner, Barbara Ganley, Kathleen Skubikowski, David Price, Robert Pack, too many to list…), and all of his writers groups. For a bit more whimsy, include the details of his excursions through the drachinai portal in which he encountered a reversed image of his anima…but those sort of stories don’t do well on this plane.
